The secret of staying young…

I’ve featured various quotes at the beginning of chapters in my upcoming novel, FAST FORWARD. All of them relate to the themes in the book; ageing, beauty, birthdays, family, and folllowing your dreams. Some are funny, some are heartfelt, and here is one of them:

Lol funny you should ask, Juliet. A big yes from me who had to choose just two for my novel. I wanted one for every season but in the end found two I totally love. You novel is sounding better every day.

I enjoy them. One book I read recently, about a divorce party planner (sorry, I’ve forgotten the title–so many of them are generic), began with a playlist and movie reference which I found quite entertaining too. It’s not something to use often, but occasionally it works a treat. Looking forward to your first book, Juliet. All the best.

    That’s the title! Thanks. I’ve read so many fellow writers’ books that I can’t keep titles straight anymore. I enjoyed that story so much. But then, Nicola’s books are always good.
