I’ve featured various quotes at the beginning of chapters in my upcoming novel, FAST FORWARD. All of them relate to the themes in the book; ageing, beauty, birthdays, family, and following your dreams. Some are funny, some are heartfelt, and here is one of them:

I love this picture, it’s a good representation of how Kelli feels when she wakes on her 25th birthday to find she’s a 50 year old housewife married to the high school nerd (although, the woman in the picture doesn’t look that old, I was much meaner to Kelli in the book 😉 ).
